Solution
To address these challenges, CloudSphere ran a discovery across 468+ VMware instances to provide workload and application insights and recommendations for migration and modernization.

- Discovered a total of 4718 applications 4235 COTS and 483 propriety applications running on and their applications services paths via CloudSphere Knowledge Graph.

- Outcomes included a 48% reduction Microsoft SQL cores for licensing optimization.
- Potential carbon emission savings of 2,051 (kg CO2e / year) with Graviton instance types a 60% less than equivalent x86 alternative.
- Results included 64% TCO cost reduction from lift-and-shift by opting for 3Yr RI-all-upfront AWS pricing plan for 408 virtual machines in AWS.
