Global Technology Giant ST Engineering Partners with CloudSphere to Solve Multicloud Cost, Security and Governance Challenges

In Cloud Cost Management, Cloud Governance, Cloud Security

I am very happy to announce that global technology and engineering group, Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. (ST Engineering) has made a strategic investment in CloudSphere. The details are in our joint press release, but I wanted to offer my viewpoint on why this partnership means more to us than the additional cash on our balance sheet. When working with a strategic investor, I feel it is critical that there be alignment between the investor and the company on a joint vision and direction. Working with ST Engineering, we found a great deal of common ground and a true design partner approach, where we can collaborate to accelerate multicloud management and cloud governance capabilities.

Over the last year, multicloud strategies have become mainstream. In a recent survey, Gartner found that 81% of organizations work with two or more cloud providers.  However, with rapid multicloud adoption come security, governance and compliance challenges.

As enterprises worldwide continue to experience challenges managing their increasingly complex cloud environments, ST Engineering’s investment and adoption of our platform validates the need for an all-in-one cloud management platform to automate governance, minimize security risks and manage costs. Selecting CloudSphere allows ST Engineering to accelerate and scale its capabilities in professional and managed services in public clouds to provide greater value to its defense, government and commercial customers in more than 100 countries, while driving long-term growth for the company.

In selecting CloudSphere as a design partner over our competitors, ST Engineering specifically noted and appreciated that ours is a single platform that includes governance for cost, security posture and identity management across all three major public clouds – qualities that stand out in the market.

Similarly, working with ST Engineering provides us access to hundreds of enterprise customers around the globe, where we can gain valuable feedback on early product releases and some of our more visionary projects that are shaping the future of cloud governance.

We look forward to continuing our partnership with ST Engineering and helping their customers gain the value of automation, security and identity governance for their multicloud environments.
