Dublin, Ireland—September 5, 2024—CloudSphere, the company behind the Illuminate360 platform that offers comprehensive IT visibility, has announced a successful $12 million Series B funding round. Atlantic Bridge led the round, which included participation from a group of existing global investors, including ST Engineering and others. The new capital will fuel CloudSphere’s growth strategies, including expanding its comprehensive IT visibility platform into the security operations space.
CloudSphere CEO John Foster said the funding round “validates the strong market for CloudSphere’s technology.”
Foster noted that the company’s unique platform scans the entire IT estate and contextualizes the data to present a business services-level view of the estate. Armed with this context of business services, he said that security operations (sec ops) and development operations (dev ops) teams are better equipped to prioritize responses based on business criticality.
Foster said having a unified view of the IT estate enables collaboration across the organization to instill and prioritize security processes.

CISOs frequently need more visibility across their entire IT system, particularly on-prem legacy applications that are complex, custom systems built and added to over many years. Illuminate360 is particularly strong at identifying large legacy applications to fill this blind spot for CISOs. With CloudSphere, CISOs no longer have to worry about what they don’t know as they respond to regulatory and governance audits.
